About Clifta

Clifta is a Professional Fitness Trainer in Reno, Nevada and has been in the Health & Fitness industry 35 years. She started weight training as a teenager her last year of high school and has been doing it ever since. Having been a competitive bodybuilder for 11 years, she knows what it takes to get results and how to get them.

Clifta turned Pro in 1996, at the USA Championships in California and received Professional status as a Bodybuilder. She gained enormous amounts of knowledge over the years as a competitor and a trainer… and it’s her passion to share that with others and motivate them to be more active and to get healthy and lead a better quality of life!

After 14 years off from competing… Clifta got back on stage again, but this time she competed in the INBA, a natural association, in the Figure and Physique divisions.

She’s worked with a variety of people from the complete beginner (just starting out) to the advanced (competitive bodybuilders, athletes, and fitness competitors), male and female, and all ages from 14 to 84, and everyone else in between!

She’s trained people with injuries including back, knee, shoulder, elbow, and wrist, as well as, the Physically Challenged (para/quadraphelegic), people with Diabetes, Cancer, Arthritis, MS, Osteoporosis, and Carpal Tunnel. She has also worked with bodybuilders and fitness competitors with their symmetry & mandatory poses for competitions, as well as, their eating/diet programs, exercise programs, and posing routines.

Clifta’s mission is to help people achieve their desired health and fitness goals through proper nutrition, exercise, and faith. She believes through proper care of yourself you create a more fulfilling life.

Over the last 35 years Clifta has gained alot of knowledge about what it takes to make the necessary lifestyle changes in order to reach one’s goals. Clifta has also learned that there are “no short cuts” if you want long, lasting results. It takes time, patience, consistency, and a commitment to yourself if you want to change your lifestyle and achieve your goals.

There really is no substitute for hard work and the biggest problem that keeps people from achieving their desired results or making a commitment to themselves is the confussion that comes from some of the common myths about nutrition and exercise, which makes it harder to know what to do to stick to a solid program. That’s why “CliftaFIT” is so Great! It’s a “One Stop” information station! Clifta has been in health & fitness for so long that she knows what works and what doesn’t and has posted the Best of the Best!

Clifta believes it’s important to develop your own beliefs and intuition about nutrition and exercise and to learn what works for “YOU” by listening to what your body and spirit are telling you.

Not everything works for everybody. What works for one, might not work for another… and could harm a third!

Everyone is different so pay attention to what works for “YOU” and gives you the results you want. Then get rid of the things that aren’t working for you… You know… The things “you think you have to do in order to get results” but aren’t doing a darn thing for you.

Please keep in mind…
Any product that claims to give you overnight results is nothing more than a “gimmick”… like crazy diets, pills, and gadgets. They not only don’t work, but they can also set you back further than you were before.

Clifta’s Qualification’s

11 years as a Competitive Bodybuilder, 35 years of hands on experience in the field of health and fitness, and alot of self study has given her more knowledge than any one of her certifications. Over the years she’s learned a lot of things that the books don’t tell you.

During her competitive days she had the privilege of working with John Organ who talked her into doing her first competition;  then worked with John DeFendis… who earned his Pro card in Bodybuilding at the Mr. USA in 1988; and then later worked with Kurt Rexford. She learned enormous amounts of information from all of them on how to eat healthy, lose body fat, increase lean mass, and how to get ready for bodybuilding contests, which have all been very valuable. She’s taken that information, added and modified things along the way to make it her own style and has been sharing and teaching others to get FIT and stay FIT… For Life!

Over the last 35 years she’s also learned a great deal from all of her personal training clients, as well as the competitive bodybuilders that she’s prepared for contests. They have all taught her… that “NO ONE BODY” is the same and that what works for one doesn’t necessarily work for another. Each one has taught her something different and unique, as well as helped her to fine tune her skills for helping others reach their goals and change their lifestyles!
